At Caprice Atelier, we question the idea that one frame should fit everyone.
When you buy shoes, you expect a size that fits. No one would accept a single size and simply learn to live with the discomfort. Yet in eyewear, people are often asked to do exactly that. Simply, choosing from standardised sizes and shapes that rarely account for the individuality of the person wearing them is not good enough.
We believe eyewear should be designed around the wearer, not the other way around.
The name Caprice Atelier is inspired by the musical term caprice, which is a composition characterised by freedom, spontaneity, and unpredictability. It reflects our belief that individuality should be celebrated, not constrained by convention. Every face has its own proportions, character, and expression, and every frame should complement those qualities rather than force them into a standard mould.
Through careful craftsmanship and a thoughtful approach to design, we create eyewear that embraces individuality. Each frame is shaped with attention to fit, balance, and detail, resulting in pieces that feel as personal as they look.
Because great eyewear isn't about finding the closest fit.
It's about creating the perfect fit.
